I was involved with stick figure animation growing up, and wanted to create a rig set up that allowed me to recreate the experience of making a stick-fight animation. Often forward kinematics and frame-by-frame animation were used. This rig allowed for limbs to be shortened and overlapped to create a “false” perspective which was a limitation of other programs I used in the past.
